Hartsgrove is located in northeastern Ohio, east of Cleveland, close to Lake Erie. Due to the colder climate, I have a shorter growing season. I usually keep the local area supplied with fresh produce from July to October, weather depending of course. My produce is planted in stages, thus ensuring a longer supply of fresh vegetables. Some of the vegetables I routinely grow are tomatoes, green and colored bell peppers, hot and sweet banana peppers, green beans, yellow squash, zucchini, eggplant, cucumbers, etc.
I do not grow my crop just for profit, I actually enjoy gardening and it shows in my produce. I do not rush the growing process. I grow my produce the way Mother Nature intended. You will never find vegetables on my produce stand that have been over irrigated and therefore start to shrivel within hours of being picked, nor do I load them up with tons of chemicals and loads of artificial fertilizer.
My garden is well maintained and operated like a home garden, on a much larger scale, instead of a for profit commercial operation. If you love the taste of home grown vegetables that are bursting with flavor and you live in the area, stop by my produce stand located in Hartsgrove circle.
